Help Neurodivergent Teens and Young Adults Thrive with RAIN
Tax deductible
Hi, I'm writing on behalf of Richmond Autism Integration Network. We are a 501c3 non-profit that serves ages 13+ and fills a very specific niche in the community. Our programming centers around helping teens and young adults become the best version of themselves so that they can have support as they transition into adulthood. We provide a safe space for neurodivergent individuals to be accepted, to learn life skills, to experience the world around them, and to make lasting friendships. We do this through providing community-based instruction and social skills instruction. We provide opportunities for learning, social events (such as a sensory friendly prom and weekly social skills programming, summer camp and more) We have been blessed to be able to provide programming since the summer of 2012.
Throughout this time, we have grown in a multitude of ways.
In the last few years, costs have continued to rise, and we have attempted to keep our programming accessible to families. We are growing and adding new students all the time.
We are at a place in our journey where, in order to meet our growing program needs, we need to increase our staffing and support.
We are one of the only autism-specific organizations that works with our age range and takes our students into the community in the ways that we do. We provide experiences, community-based instruction, and a format in which our students are safe and supported. In order to continue this, we need help from our community. We are asking that you consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us thrive and to help this population get the support that they need. We need your support to do the work that we do.
Thank you for your consideration.
