My name is Nesma Abu Askar, I’m 21 years old from North Gaza, and I’m studying nursing. I dreamed of continuing my education and helping others, but the war shattered my life and stopped me from pursuing my future.
When the war began, everything I loved was destroyed my university, my home, and my dreams. In the second week of the war, our house was completely bombed, leaving us homeless, unsafe, and without a place to feel secure.
While many people fled south to escape the violence, my family and I stayed strong in North Gaza, enduring the harsh conditions to survive. We have lived through multiple famines, ongoing massacres, and unimaginable suffering. I was seriously injured on November 1, 2023, and I’m still trying to recover amid these tough circumstances.
Now, with the border crossing closed since March 2, 2025, we are facing the worst famine Gaza has ever seen, making basic necessities like food a distant dream.
Despite all this pain, this week we managed to rent a small house. But housing prices in Gaza are extremely high due to the shortage of available homes, and we cannot afford the rent.
I am reaching out from the depths of my heart, asking for your help. Your support is not just financial it’s a beacon of hope that lights our path through the darkness of war and famine. Your donations will help us secure stable shelter, medical care, and allow me to continue my education and build a better future.
Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a huge difference in our lives.
The donation link is in the bio. Please share and support we need you now more than ever.❤️
