On August 26, 2026, a devastating flash flood swept through northern Nepal, severely affecting communities in Rasuwa and surrounding areas. The sudden surge of water, ice, rocks, and debris destroyed homes, roads, bridges, and critical infrastructure, leaving families facing unimaginable loss and uncertainty.

The full extent of the disaster is still being assessed, but dozens of lives have already been lost and hundreds of people are reported missing.

ANQ – Association of Nepalese in Quebec is raising this emergency relief fund to support victims of the devastating floods in Nepal. Rescue teams are working around the clock to search for survivors and provide emergency assistance to those affected. Many families have lost their homes, belongings, income, and access to basic necessities, making the days and weeks ahead extremely difficult.

Through this ANQ emergency relief campaign, your support can help provide food, clean drinking water, temporary shelter, clothing, hygiene supplies, medical care, and other essential assistance to families in need. All funds raised through this campaign by ANQ – Association of Nepalese in Quebec will be used to support communities affected by the devastating floods in Nepal.
