Quick update! Nelly Rosendale had surgery on the 23rd and is home. She’s still in a great deal of pain due to the size of her incision, plate and screws placed, and the stretching of muscles, tendons, and nerves to be able to expose the bone for surgery. She is also still having difficulty with pain from her ribs that were broken.

Nelly still has a long way to go and with no income or insurance, this is a very stressful time for her. She will be out at least 12 weeks per the doctor. If you could please share this page and help spread the word so we can try to get her cost of living covered for the next couple of months, anything and everything is greatly appreciated. What Happened?

A couple of weeks ago, my dear friend Nelly, experienced a sudden and painful accident that left her with a broken arm and two broken ribs. As you can imagine, she is facing a long road to recovery — one that comes with physical challenges, emotional stress, and unexpected financial burdens.

Because of her injuries, Nelly is currently unable to work and will need time to heal properly. We are hoping to raise $20,000 to help cover essential expenses such as medical bills, rent, utilities, groceries, and other cost-of-living needs while she focuses on getting better.

Anyone who knows Nelly knows how caring, hardworking, and generous she is. Nelly has serviced the Military community for nine years, touching many people in many ways. She has also volunteered in various ways throughout our community. I could go on for days but she has always shown up for the people in her life, and now it’s our turn to show up for her.
