Hello! My name is Josefine, and I’m fundraising for my neighbour, whose brand-new bike was recently stolen.

My neighbour had put up a handwritten note on our front gate explaining that the bike was a gift from a family friend, and they hadn’t even had the chance to ride it before it was stolen. They also shared that money is tight right now, and it’s unlikely they’ll be able to afford a replacement anytime soon.

I don’t know my neighbour personally, but I can imagine how important a bike can be for getting to work and saving on transport costs, especially when money is already stretched.

I just think it’s so unfair to be gifted something so thoughtful, only to have it taken away from you immediately. So I thought that maybe we as a community can come together and help?

I’m hoping to raise enough money to replace the stolen bike, or at least contribute something toward a new one.
