Hi my name is Neely. I am beekeeper and

a school psychologist who works with children of all ages with disabilities and neurodivergent needs (I like to call them “superpowers”). I have done bee presentations in schools for many years, earning Educator of the Year with my local bee keeping association. I take in my equipment for them to explore, pictures/videos, and lots of items to help them connect with bees through a sensory experience. Students love to see the pictures/videos, touch the drawn frames, smell the beeswax, hear the bees buzzing in the observation hive, and taste the honey sticks at the end. They call me the “bee lady or honey lady” when I visit! The kids absolutely love it and ask tons of questions. I get invited back every year to multiple schools. I do this all on a volunteer basis and recently lost all access to by bee supplies due to a divorce so I will need to buy a new set of supplies. I am looking to get a bee smoker, bee brush, an adult and child suit (12 yrs old) with gloves, honey sticks in bulk for the students, and any other supplies (ie. Printables) I need to make for the presentations. If anyone out there is passionate about bees and teaching kids about bees please consider donating even a small amount. Time is of essence, as I already have over 400 students booked this year and more to come! I know I have already inspired a new generation of mini beekeepers. It is my personal journey to help our precious planet in this way and to inspire a generation of children who need to connect with the healing power of nature and the source of life!!
