Neel is my brother, and he’s always been a source of strength and kindness in our family. Two years ago, he lost his wife to cancer—a loss that changed everything for him. A year later, he was diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL). Things got more challenging when he relapsed after a 4-month remission. The only option for the treatment is across the country in California at a hospital called City of Hope. We still have hope that he'll beat this, but Neel had to leave home and travel far from his support system to fight for his health once again.
This journey has brought many unexpected challenges, especially finding a safe and comfortable place for Neel to stay while he undergoes treatment. The costs of travel, housing, and being away from home are overwhelming for our family as he now has to pay extra rent to stay near the hospital, all while still covering his original rent back home in New Jersey. The financial strain is overwhelming, and he's doing his best to manage, but it's been incredibly tough. Nonetheless, we’re determined to do everything we can to help Neel focus on healing.
Any support you can give—whether it’s a donation or sharing this page—means the world to us as Neel faces this challenge far from home. Your kindness and generosity will help Neel have a safe place to stay and give our family hope during this difficult time. The funds raised here will go directly toward covering food and transportation costs like gas while he's away for treatment, as well as some living expenses. Every bit of support will help ease the burden and allow him to focus on his recovery, rather than worrying about how to make ends meet.
Thank you for being part of his journey.
