Help needed

Hi, my name is Jo and I'm trying to raise some money to get my teenage son to Prague from London for an interview for possible work experience this Summer.

My son has been subjected to suspected gang grooming these past few months, he's been admitted to hospital for a head injury sustained whilst under the influence of x15 xanax tablets, almost kidnapped by unknown young men in a car, and randomly attacked last week (as per photo).

I am working with Children's Service, Youth Justice Team and Police to keep him safe, but he seems more interested in his friends now than family and has gone from a happy young man with a Saturday job and college placement to quitting his job and becoming increasingly depressed and volatile.

My son is inherently a good child, he has SEN and an Educational Health Care Plan, so has some complex needs that make him extremely vulnerable.

He has the opportunity this March for an informal interview with an ex pat who runs a festival sound/stage company in Prague with a view to some Summer/Seasonal work experience.

This could be just what is needed to help him change his environment and broaden his perspective and experience.

I'm trying to raise funds to get his passport renewed and return flights plus somewhere to stay. I will be attending with him, so am appealing to anyone who might be able to help me cover these costs please?

I'm also thinking, if this works out then maybe this could be the foundation to offer other young people a 'time out' from the UK to gain work experience abroad, hopefully disrupting the criminal gang grooming activities and showing young people that there is a bigger world to explore than their local estate?

I would never normally ask anyone for help, but when it comes to my child's safety and future outcomes, then I am willing to try and connect with anyone who might feel inspired to assist.
