Christmas night, 9:30, my niece, Christina “Kit” Faison went home to our Lord. She was 48 years old. Sept. 6, 2018, she was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. It metastasized to her liver, lungs, spine. She fought a courageous battle enduring surgeries, chemo, radiation, countless hospitalizations and so much more. The past several months, she was too weak to work. Monday, Dec 21, she was hospitalized, put on a ventilator which was removed after a couple of days. Her health quickly declined. Her last breath was peaceful. She leaves to cherish her, 4 children ages 24, 21, 18 and 16. They all live together - rented a house with their mother. They are very good people - raised by a very good mom. What they have been through is heartbreaking. They have a lot to deal with. I am humbly asking for your help - any amount will be greatly appreciated. They have rent, utilities, food, etc. to worry about until they get back on their feet and figure out what the future holds for them. They are very close.... my niece made sure if that!
My niece and I were very close. We texted and or talked almost every day. To lose her is heartbreaking. To lose her on Christmas has been so very, very difficult.
I thank you so much for helping out my niece’s children. God bless.
