Help needed for immigration legal fees

R is a beloved community member and father of 4 who lives and works in NC. As an undocumented immigrant, he cannot easily travel or visit any international family members. He has already spent hundreds of dollars attempting to apply for legal status.

Applying for status now is more important than ever as R needs emergency surgery and hopes to reunite with his international family after many years of separation.

He has the sudden opportunity to apply for legal status again and is seeking support to help cover the legal and application fees. These fees have risen drastically in the last few years and attorneys have long waiting lists for clients.

$1,500 is needed by 2/28 to pay a legal deposit.

$2,400 will cover application fees.

$3,000 will help with the remaining legal fees.
