Help needed for flood family

I am fundraising for good friends of mine who woke up to find their home completely flooded while they were asleep! In the early morning of the 1st November David, Carla and their two children woke up to the devastation of almost knee deep dirty water right throughout their bungalow where they live with daughter Lara,16 and son Jamie,14. Jamie has extremely complex medical needs and was linked to a number of pieces of medical equipment as the fire brigade helped carry him out to safety. Lara made sure the family cat Jack was safe after they found him up to his neck in the dirty water.
The family lost everything during the flood; their beds, lounge and dining furniture, most of their clothing and even some of Jamie's medical equipment!
David and Carla no longer have a home, they are living in an apartment which is a struggle with the complexity of Jamie's needs.
We need to help raise as much funds as possible to help rehome this family into suitable accomodation for Jamie, his wheelchair and numerous others pieces of medical equipment which Jamie relies on, on a daily basis.
This has all been extremely difficult for the family; Jamie was cared for at NI children's Hospice while David, Carla and Lara were split in different homes until they got their temporary accommodation. This has been a horrendous time for the family and Jamie needs housed in suitable accommodation so his
medical needs can be met and he is comfortable in his surroundings.
Please folks, every little bit will help go a long way to help this family get back on their feet. I know there is alot we can't replace for them, sentimental items lost, memories in their home but we we can do is give them their forever after home by helping them rebuild their wee family unit again.
