Long Road to Recovery after Lawnmower Accident
Donation protected
My Grandson was in a riding lawn mower accident on Saturday, May 30, 2020. He fell off the riding mower and the blade cut his right foot pretty badly.
His big toe has two pins and has been reattached. His heel and the back of his ankle is another story.
He is in a children's hospital and is in very good care. But the repair is being a tricky situation.
He is going to have to have a procedure called Cross Leg Flap and then have External Fixation attaching his right heel into his left leg. This will help increase blood flow to his right heel. He will have to be in a figure 4 position so to speak for four weeks.
My daughter is a single mom and is not going to be able to work, for caring for her son, Braxton who is 3 years old.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated, while she cares for Braxton in his recovery.
When he goes home he will be in a wheelchair for a while, because he's not going to be able to put any weight on his foot for quite sometime.
