On April 2, 2021, Sarah and Eric welcomed their beautiful baby girl Navi to the world. They were prepared to give Navi the best life possible, but no parent could be ready for this journey. We knew that she was special from the beginning and had a heart defect. Unfortunately, Navi's doctors at Children's Hospital informed us that her condition is way worse than expected. Since birth, Navi's been in cardiac intensive care, and she's fighting for her life every day. We received the sad news that her surgery is complex, and there was nothing they could do in Florida. Amazingly, her case was sent to specialty hospitals over the US and was accepted to two hospitals. On April, 30th Navi and Sarah boarded a medical transport plane to Boston, MA. Children’s Hospital in Boston will perform her extensive open-heart surgery. While Sarah remains hopeful, the fight is far from over. Heart Conditions: Ventricular septal defect(VSD), Interrupted Aortic Arch (IAA type B), Hypoplastic Aortic Valve ascending aortic, Left coronary artery arising from PA, Large PDA causing an Anterior Trach compression, Tracheomalacia, has a history of SVT, and Digeorge syndrome.
