Domestic violence is a private matter for most families, like ours. However, there comes a point where enough is enough. I am representing my mother, younger sister and I— we have finally gained the courage to leave our extremely abusive and mentally ill husband/father, after over 2 decades of physical/verbal/religious abuse. My mother is the sole financial provider for our family and in order for us to escape and start a new life, we need enough funds to cover moving expenses, 2 months rent upfront for our current place, and double rent for a new apartment. We have no other options and we ask humbly to consider donating and boosting this fundraiser to help reach our goal.
