The National CLUW Members in Arizona are proud to announce the formation of a new group, a significant milestone after many years. While this is an exciting step, our status as a collective in formation means we are unable to fundraise or open a bank account until our elected officers are officially sworn in at the CLUW National Convention this November. We are writing to you today to seek your support in sending a strong delegation to this vital event.
As an emerging body, we are keenly focused on organizing and building a broad coalition to tackle the significant legislative and community challenges our state faces. Building strong, grassroots constituency groups in Arizona is essential for the coalition work required to create the necessary numbers to pass bills that are desperately needed to protect labor rights and the human rights of all.
By empowering our members, you directly contribute to the development of effective union activists who will strengthen our shared mission for years to come. We are thrilled at the opportunity to send a delegation of at least 14 members to the CLUW 23rd Biennial Convention in San Diego, CA. scheduled for November 9-11, 2025.
Your sponsorship will directly cover the registration, travel, transportation, and lodging for those who could not otherwise afford to attend. For the first time as a new group from Arizona, we are excited to stand in solidarity with our siblings at the convention, representing the strong 40 members of our collective.
Your support, no matter the amount, is a direct investment in the continued coalition-building amongst other union affiliates and constituency groups, education, empowerment, and leadership of working women in Arizona.
