Hello, my name is Nardia, and I’m the proud mother of two beautiful boys: Josiah (10) and Nathaniel (6). I'm creating this GoFundMe on behalf of Nathaniel, my youngest son, who was born with a rare genetic condition called Trifunctional Protein Deficiency. This disorder affects how his body breaks down certain fats for energy, especially during periods without food. It’s an incredibly challenging condition that affects his appetite, energy, muscle development, and overall quality of life.

Nathaniel is full of light, laughter, and resilience. But his condition often leaves him tired, unable to eat like other children, and in need of constant monitoring and support. As a single mother, it’s not always easy. I work as a medical administrative assistant, with over 12 years of experience in dialysis and healthcare. I’m used to showing up for others, and now, I’m asking for a little help showing up for my son.

This fund will help cover:

Daily living expenses and bills during times I’m unable to work full-time due to his care needs

Enrollment in karate has helped him gain confidence and strength

A healing family trip to Disney World, something my boys dream of and truly deserve

Medical needs and therapies are not always covered by insurance
