Help Nathan Battle Aggressive Cancer

My name is Emily and my little boy Nathan who just turned 10 in January have been in and out the hospital for a good while now, back in march of 2024 Nathan was diagnosed with osteosarcoma it was first found in his arm and he had a 11 hour surgery to save his arm but with that surgery he had to sacrifice his fibula in his leg and that’s also led to him learning how to walk again, he’s still in therapy and trying his best everyday, towards the end of his treatment on thanksgiving we found another lump near the first one just a little more on the shoulder/collarbone area but the doctors told us it wasn’t his cancer, long story short not even a month later Nathan had another surgery to remove a new tumor, after his surgery his surgeon told us that the tumor had made its way into his veins and had to be left behind cause it was to risky to remove, shortly after we celebrated Nathan’s 10th birthday and the following Monday got admitted into the hospital to start his new treatment plan, while in the hospital Nathan had a ct scan done on his chest cause the doctors wanted to check on a spot from his last scan well that tuesday I received the news that Nathan had 14 new tumors in his lung plus that one they seen before bringing him to 15 tumors in total, I was devastated to hear that, my heart was broken, but i asked them what was the next step, what was in plan for Nathan moving forward they told me that nathans cancer is very aggressive and that if this new treatment plan doesn’t work that hopefully it can slow his cancer down from spreading so he can have more time, they told me to cherish these coming days with him and that hopefully he’s able to do all the things he wants, Nathan will have another ct scan done shortly after his second round of treatment and I pray that god is with him & is healing him from the inside, I’ve reached out to another hospital for a 2nd opinion and now I am just waiting for an appointment to see if he has hope elsewhere, me making this go fund me is mainly me asking for help, for help to make sure Nathan gets a chance to do everything he wants to go on a small get away to the cabins, he wants to enjoy more time watching movies at the movie theater eating pop corn and drinking slushys, he wants to eat fajitas every chance his tummy is up for it cause that’s his favorite food, he wants to play online with his friends and have all the cool skins in Fortnite, he wants to wrap himself in the warmest blankets and those are just a few things he talks about so much more and its all simple things but cancer it self is just a financial burden I’ve been out of work almost his whole treatment so I can be with him and comfort him especially since he’s lost his dad I don’t wanna leave his side, I’m not losing hope but I notice the way he breathes when he’s sleeping, I can tell that he gets outta breath quicker when he’s doing simple things and I can see how tired he is but I’m praying everyday for a miracle but if time is against us I wanna be able to give Nathan the things he wants and take him the places he wants to go he’s already lost so much this past year and It’s just been hard watching him go through this, if a prayer is all you can offer me and my family that’s perfectly fine that goes way further than anything els ❤️‍

small UPDATE about nathan,

after his 2nd tumor came back & surgery and a new chemo plan they decided to stop the chemotherapy in the hospital since it wasn’t working for Nathan, he now has to many new tumors in his lungs to give an accurate number, & he now has a new tumor that broke through his skin near the 2nd site he had his 2nd tumor, the doctors decided not to do surgery but to try radiation to hopefully kill some of it & shrink it, they made it clear that it won’t cure him but the plan is to slow down the cancer & give him some more time, he’s now taking oral chemo pills here at home so he doesn’t have to spend to much time in the hospital anymore, so anytime we can we take a small road trip or try to get away for a bit an escape our reality, every donation big or small is the reason we can take mini trips and just keep moving tryin to make the best of the time we have together, thank you everyone for all the kindness you’ve shown my family & my son ❤️‍

Just a small update , this week I went to secure a spot for Nathan over where his dad is resting, my original plan was to cremate and bring nae back home with me but a few weeks ago he asked me if anything happened to him if I would lay him next to his dad so I wanna honor his wish and do that for him,I have are ready started the payments and got the last spot available right next to his dad, I know planning ahead seems weird or even heartless in a way but I just wanna be some what prepared and have things in order since I’ll most likely be a mess and not in the right head space wen god decides to call my baby boy him to be with him & his daddy, so any donations will also now be going towards his rest space, and just again I wanna say thank you to everyone who’s been praying over him, and for all the support everyone has given us it truly means so much ❤️‍
