Natalie just turned 12 in April and is so incredibly full of life and laughter! She brings joy to so many lives. Natalie was born with a genetic disorder, meaning she didn’t mature past around 6 months old. While her body continues to grow, her development has stopped, meaning Natalie needs a lot of special equipment to help her with day-to-day things. One of those things is safe sleep. Natalie just received a Cubby bed through her insurance, and it has been so amazing for her.

But since she just got a bed for home, we don’t qualify for a bed we can travel with. As Natalie continues to grow, we are having a hard time finding safe options in hotel settings or even staying with family. We are trying to purchase a travel bed for Natalie so she can continue to travel and adventure with her family. This bed breaks down and can fit into a suitcase, it’s machine washable, and is relatively lightweight. But it also has strong sides so she is able to sleep comfortably and safely wherever her travels bring her.

This bed would also make hospital stays safe for Natalie when she is admitted. I know, weird that a hospital doesn’t have safe sleep options, but they don’t, not for kids as big as Natalie.
