Natalie and Miguel and their 7-year-old son live adjacent to the Celo Community in Yancey County, Burnsville, NC. Their home was completely flooded next to Upper Browns Creek. They are currently living in an Airbnb with another family. Their son was a Camp Celo camper this past summer. Natalie is a hairdresser whose studio in Asheville was also flooded. Miguel is a glassblower and ceramics artist whose ceramics studio was destroyed in their home.
