Support Nancy in her Custody Battle

Hi, my name is Nancy, and I’m reaching out for support during one of the hardest times in my life.

I’m a stay-at-home mom to a beautiful daughter, Emi, and I’m currently in the midst of a difficult custody case. After a painful breakup with my child’s father, I’ve found myself emotionally and financially drained, trying to provide for both Emi and myself while also fighting for a fair custody arrangement. I’ve been actively job hunting, but as the primary caretaker, I’m struggling to make ends meet and afford an attorney who can help me secure a future for my daughter.

For the sake of our family, I tried everything to make our relationship work—offering family therapy and trying to communicate openly—but my ex refused these efforts. Over the course of our relationship, I endured emotional abuse, manipulation, and threats, especially during the vulnerable time of postpartum. My attempts to reconcile and keep our family together were often dismissed or met with accusations that I was "too much."

I don’t just need financial support; I need the chance to heal emotionally and protect my daughter from further instability. Any help you can provide—whether it’s to afford legal fees for my custody case—would mean so much to me. 

Any leftover funds from this campaign, after covering legal fees, will be used to help with medical expenses and to provide for Emi as I navigate being a single mom.
