Help Nancy get a new car!

Hey everyone,

We’re reaching out because our neighbour Nancy is going through a tough time.

Nancy is lovely and quiet elderly woman who came to Australia 30 years ago with her late husband. They travelled the country and lived in a few different places. After her husband passed away, life got more complicated, leaving her with no more financial security. Last winter was her first winter in the bush with only a tent and a car. Her car was her only way of connecting with people, going to work, buying groceries and protecting her from the weather.

Unfortunately, her car was recently severely vandalised. The car is a write off and she can't afford a replacement. This has left her with no protection from the rain, cold and idiots. Now she has to walk dozens of kilometres a week to be able to get basic goods.

We’ve set up this fundraiser to help raise money for a new car or a small van including rego and insurance fees so that she can get around and has some protection in the coming colder months.
