Nakisha is my niece—a loving, hardworking mother of three young kids, with one more on the way in less than four weeks. Her husband, Josh, is currently serving in our military. They are both deeply involved in their community and church, always ready to lend a hand to others in need. Their family is known for their kindness and generosity, and now they are facing an unimaginable challenge.

Earlier today, a fire broke out in the apartment below Nakisha’s. By the time the fire department arrived, the flames had already spread to her home. Nakisha had just enough time to get her daughter and herself out safely, but they lost absolutely everything except the clothes on their backs. With Josh away serving our country, Nakisha is now left to rebuild their lives while preparing to welcome a new baby very soon.

The funds raised will help Nakisha and her family replace essentials, prepare for the arrival of their new baby, and start rebuilding their lives from scratch.
