My name is Nadine, and I am reaching out for help as my family and I navigate one of the most difficult times in our lives. After 26 years of marriage, I am going through a separation that has left us without a car, an apartment, and with damaged credit. My eldest child is currently in the shelter system, while I am staying in a hotel with my other three children and our beloved pets—a cat, a bearded dragon, and a turtle. Staying in a hotel is extremely expensive, and we have to buy food every day, making it impossible to save or plan for the future. All of our personal belongings are in storage, and we haven’t really seen them in over a year. We are also behind on our storage payments, which puts our memories and essentials at risk. What we need most is a stable home—a four-bedroom apartment where we can finally settle, cook our own meals, and start rebuilding our lives.

Family is everything, and I am trying my best to get everyone back together and on track.
