Hello, my name is Nadia Rodriguez, and I am a third-year student at UC Riverside. On May 29, 2026, a fire tore through the apartment complex I called home.

Like many others affected, I had to leave everything behind. Right now, I do not have access to my clothes, toiletries, food, school materials, or the place where I felt safe and comfortable. It has been heartbreaking and overwhelming to suddenly lose access to so much of my life in a single day.

As I try to figure out what comes next, I am asking for help with basic necessities, temporary housing, and the costs that come with starting over. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference and help me get through this incredibly difficult time.
