Help NaBreshia and Alex Rebuild Their Lives

I am a licensed CNA for the lee and union county areas. I am creating this fundraiser for a couple that has become near and dear to my heart. I am unable to make any accomidations for them and decided that this would be the best way to help. So a litte bit about them ....

NaBreshia and Alex Patton are 29 and 28 years old. This newly-wed couple are natives of the Oxford area. Breshia was born with Albinism which at birth has taken her eyesight. She has recently been diagnosed with P-COS and Acute Pancrentis (an inflammation of the pancreas). In the past few weeks, she has suffered from a stomach virus that turned into a stomach infection that resulted in her hospitalization.

Unfortunately, Alex has been terminated from his job due to doctor's appts, surgeries, and caring for Breshia when her ailments have taken a tole on her body. With the loss of his job, came the loss of their home and it has been a downhill spiral since. They have tried staying at hospitals for shelter, or in vacant parking lots in the comfort of their vehicle but have been harrassed and treated poorly during these times.

In learning this information, Exodus International Ministries has donated funds to house them for a week at a nearby hotel in Tupelo, MS. As the end of that week is vastly approaching, we are trying to help to reistablish stablity with this fundraiser.

I've been assigned as Breshia's caregiver, which will create availabilty for Alex to obtain and maintain employment for their houshold. We have located a home for them, and are asking for funds to help get them settled for the next 2 months. This will cover their housing, a bed, food, and personal supplies to get them started.

Along with this reach for help, we're accepting any in-kind donations that can help such as furniture, cleaning supplies, cookwear, and toiletries.
