Help Mychelle and Marco Move! Espíritu Santo Union

The Espíritu Santo Tenant Union and Miami Tenants Union are raising funds for rent withholding tenants. These tenants are demanding rent forgiveness and an extension of the Florida Eviction Moratorium. 

Both Mychelle and Marco have also been affected by CO-VID through reduced hours, lost jobs, and a subsequent shortage of food and necessities in their household. Furthering this, their housing conditions, prevent Mychelle and Marco’s health from recuperating at home.

The couple organized with their neighbors and began fighting for their rights together, but they need help financing this when they are now, out of money,  partially unemployed, and stressed from the retaliation.  

Mychelle is an animator, someone whose craft takes a great level of focus and detail, and her living space continues to bring pain and distraction from the things she wants to focus on. Marco has had to pick up extra shifts at work and has been on the clock non-stop, and his resting place is unsafe and unhealthy all the while. 

This campaign is to raise funds for them to move into a new apartment and basic necessities like food.
