The proceeds of this fundraiser will be transparently donated to support those participating in the Civil Disobedience Movement, those who have lost loved ones, and those who have been most affected by the military junta — our ethnic minorities.

On February 1, 2021, Myanmar — also known as Burma — was closed off from the world. The Myanmar military, Tatmadaw, illegally seized power from the democratically elected government by detaining our President U Win Myint, State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, and other leaders from the National League for Democracy (NLD) Party. The Tatmadaw declared a “State of Emergency” claiming that the coup was in response to the electoral fraud during the 2020 November elections in which the NLD Party won a landslide victory of 83%. There was no evidence of electoral fraud to back up their claim. The people of Myanmar entered a new age of darkness, and do not seem to have left it ever since.
The police force and the military (Tatmadaw) have begun using extreme violent tactics to disperse crowds of peaceful protesters which have led to numerous deaths of innocent unarmed civilians. Despite the non-violent protests by the civilians, the terrorists - as declared by The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) - have been using rubber bullets, live ammunition, tear gas, stun grenades, and bulldozers to crush dissent. Myanmar civilians are now living in a perpetual state of terror. These fallen heroes have left behind their own mourning families among which some are in dire need of financial assistance.
All the while, our ethnic minorities are still constantly being displaced and have been the ones who are most impacted by the unjustified actions of the junta. For instance, many Kachin communities are being terrorized daily and their existence constantly threatened. The Rohingyas are similarly living in constant fear of their villages being raided, or worse, burned down. Many of their people have been subject to a cruel number of atrocities, the most brutal one being a case of genocide. The lack of media presence in these poor regions makes them even more susceptible to undocumented atrocities. These ethnic groups are in urgent need of humanitarian aid, which we are hoping to provide through this fundraiser.
Under the nationwide unison to fight for the democratic state that we deserve, we urge you to consider contributing to our fundraiser which will be forwarded towards ensuring that democracy is consolidated in Myanmar.

၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ်၊ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလ ၁ ရက်နေ့ တွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဟာ ကမ္ဘာနှင့်အဆက်အသွယ်ပြတ်တောက်သွားခဲ့ရပါတယ်။ မြန်မာ့စစ်တပ် တပ်မတော်ဟာဒီမိုကရေစီနည်းလမ်းဖြင့်ရွေးချယ်တင်မြှောက်ထားတဲ့ ပြည့်သူ့ အစိုးရကို တရားမဝင်အာဏာ သိမ်းခဲ့ပြီး နိုင်ငံတော်သမ္မတ ဦးဝင်းမြင့်၊ နိုင်ငံတော်ရဲ့ အတိုင်ပင်ခံ ပုဂ္ဂိုလ် ဒေါ်အောင်ဆန်းစုကြည်နှင့် အမျိုးသားဒီမိုကရေစီအဖွဲ့ချုပ်(NLD)မှနိုင်ငံ့ခေါင်းဆောင်အချို့ကို ဖမ်းဆီးထိန်းသိမ်းခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ ၂၀၂၀ နိုဝင်ဘာလ ရွေးကောက်ပွဲမှာ NLD ပါတီ က ၈၃% ဖြင့်အပြတ်အသတ်အနိုင်ရရှိခဲ့သည်ကို တပ်မတော်က ရွေးကောက်ပွဲလိမ်လည်မှု များရှိခဲ့သည်ဟု ဆိုကာ “နိုင်ငံအရေးပေါ်အခြေအနေ” ဟု သတ်မှတ်ပြီး အာဏာသိမ်းခဲ့တာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ တပ်မတော်မှ စွပ်စွဲတဲ့ ရွေးကောက်ပွဲမသမာမှုများ ကိုတော့ထောက်ခံနိုင်သည့် သတ်သေအထောက်အထား တစ်စုံတစ်ရာ မရှိခဲ့ပါ။ ထိုအချိန်မှစ၍ မြန်မာ ပြည်သူပြည်သားများဟာ အမှောင်ခေတ်တစ်ခုသို့ ရောက်ရှိသွားကြပြီးယခုအချိန်ထိ ထို အမှောင်ခေတ်မှ မရုန်းထွက်နိုင်ကြသေးပါ။
ရဲတပ်ဖွဲ့များနှင့်စစ်တပ်ဖွဲ့(တပ်မတော်)တို့ဟာငြိမ်းချမ်းစွာဆန္ဒပြနေသောလူအုပ်များကိုလူစုဖြိုခွဲရန်အလွန်ဆိုးရွားသောအကြမ်းဖက်နည်းဗျူဟာများကို အသုံးပြုခဲ့ ခြင်းကြောင့်အပြစ်မဲ့၊လက်နက်မဲ့ပြည်သူများစွာသေဆုံးခဲ့ရပါတယ်။ထိုကြောင့်ပြည်ထောင်စုလွှတ်တော်ကိုယ်စားပြုကော်မတီမှထိုရဲတပ်ဖွဲ့များနှင့် စစ်တပ်ဖွဲ့တို့ကို အကြမ်းဖက်အဖွဲ့အစည်းဟု သတ်မှတ်၍ကြေငြာချက်ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ပြည်သူများမှာ အကြမ်းမဖက်ပဲ ငြိမ်းချမ်းစွာဆန္ဒပြနေကြသည်ကိုထို အကြမ်းဖက်သမားများမှ ရာဘာကျည်ဆန်များ၊ ကျည်ဆန်အစစ်များ၊ခဲယမ်းမီးကျောက်များ၊ မျက်ရည်ယိုဗုံးများ၊အသံဗုံးများ၊မြေထိုးစက်များကိုအသုံးပြု၍လူစုဖြိုခွဲခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ထို့ကြောင့်ယခုအချိန်မှာမြန်မာပြည်သူများသည်အစဉ်အမြဲအထိတ်တလန့်ကြောက်မက်နေရသည့်အခြေအနေတွင်နေထိုင်နေကြရပါတယ်။ထိုသို့အကြမ်းဖက်ခဲ့ကြသောကြောင့်ကျဆုံးသွားသောအချို့သူရဲကောင်းများရဲ့မိသားစုများဟာဝမ်းနည်းပူဆွေးနေကြရတဲ့အပြင် မိသားစုများမှာ ငွေကြေးအကူအညီလိုအပ်နေကြပါတယ်။

ရဲတပ်ဖွဲ့များနှင့်စစ်တပ်ဖွဲ့(တပ်မတော်)တို့ဟာငြိမ်းချမ်းစွာဆန္ဒပြနေသောလူအုပ်များကိုလူစုဖြိုခွဲရန်အလွန်ဆိုးရွားသောအကြမ်းဖက်နည်းဗျူဟာများကို အသုံးပြုခဲ့ ခြင်းကြောင့်အပြစ်မဲ့၊လက်နက်မဲ့ပြည်သူများစွာသေဆုံးခဲ့ရပါတယ်။ထိုကြောင့်ပြည်ထောင်စုလွှတ်တော်ကိုယ်စားပြုကော်မတီမှထိုရဲတပ်ဖွဲ့များနှင့် စစ်တပ်ဖွဲ့တို့ကို အကြမ်းဖက်အဖွဲ့အစည်းဟု သတ်မှတ်၍ကြေငြာချက်ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ပြည်သူများမှာ အကြမ်းမဖက်ပဲ ငြိမ်းချမ်းစွာဆန္ဒပြနေကြသည်ကိုထို အကြမ်းဖက်သမားများမှ ရာဘာကျည်ဆန်များ၊ ကျည်ဆန်အစစ်များ၊ခဲယမ်းမီးကျောက်များ၊ မျက်ရည်ယိုဗုံးများ၊အသံဗုံးများ၊မြေထိုးစက်များကိုအသုံးပြု၍လူစုဖြိုခွဲခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ထို့ကြောင့်ယခုအချိန်မှာမြန်မာပြည်သူများသည်အစဉ်အမြဲအထိတ်တလန့်ကြောက်မက်နေရသည့်အခြေအနေတွင်နေထိုင်နေကြရပါတယ်။ထိုသို့အကြမ်းဖက်ခဲ့ကြသောကြောင့်ကျဆုံးသွားသောအချို့သူရဲကောင်းများရဲ့မိသားစုများဟာဝမ်းနည်းပူဆွေးနေကြရတဲ့အပြင် မိသားစုများမှာ ငွေကြေးအကူအညီလိုအပ်နေကြပါတယ်။
