6/9/2026: Thank you everyone for all of your outreach and support! We have recieved more donations than we ever imagined we would. This was created for those close to us, but the help from the community has been astonishing. They have what’s needed to cover all of their essentials and at this point, any extra would be covering replacing non-necessities. Thank you everyone so much! People are good.
Update 6/3/25: The U-Haul has been located, but unfortunately most of their belongings were missing, aside from a few pieces of larger furniture (table, desk, wire rack). They took everything else they own—down to their baby pictures. Please continue to support and share if you’re able. Thank you everyone for all of your help!
Myah and Lindsey just moved to Minneapolis from La Crosse, hoping for a fresh start. After a long day of moving, they parked their locked U-haul outside and brought the keys inside for the night. Tragically, sometime between 4:47 and 5:47am, someone stole the entire U-haul with everything they own inside—including their social security cards and birth certificates. This loss has left them with nothing but the clothes they wore during the move, and they are now facing the daunting task of rebuilding their lives from scratch in a new city.
While the police investigate, Myah and Lindsey urgently need support to cover immediate essentials. They could use funds to purchase a bed or stay in a hotel for a while, as they have nowhere else to turn. Every donation will help them take the first steps toward recovery and provide some comfort and security during this incredibly difficult time.
