My Wife's Battle through Pregnancy

My wife is struggling. As a cosmetologist and small business owner, she's always put others first - coloring and cutting hair, making people feel beautiful, and building a life for our family. But this pregnancy has been different. The severe pains, mental

struggles due to not being able to keep down her mental health meds and other meds, L&D calls and visits, risk of preeclampsia, plus other health issues have forced her to slow down by a lot.

As her partner, it's heartbreaking to see her like this. She is always working so hard for her business and our family, but now she is in so much pain from even short salon days, and it takes her so long to recover.

Our 2-year-old daughter needs her mom, and I need my partner. I'm doing my best to juggle work and caregiving, but I know by her not working it will be so hard for us financially.

Her business, her passion project, has reached a point of not being maintainable due to her health, and we're worried about making ends meet while trying to keep her and our daughter safe through the end of this pregnancy.

We're not asking for handouts, but we are asking for support in this time from anyone who is able to help in any way.

Support to help us cover bills, groceries, and everyday expenses while she's on bed rest and not able to work through her maternity leave.

Support to give her the time she needs to rest and heal and have a safe delivery with our baby girl.

As a business owner, she loves what she does, but was not prepared for this to

hit her the way it has. Even minimizing her days is affecting her so much finically and she is still in so much pain.

Her last pregnancy, she was able to work until her due date - so I know she is struggling with knowing that’s not the case this time like she wanted it to be.
