On October 23rd, my Uncle was kidnapped and trafficked by ICE from his home in Maine, to Plymouth Correctional Facility in Massachusetts after going to a routine check-in. My uncle was kept at Plymouth for 7 weeks where he was subjected to humiliation, abuse, and conditions described by the UN as “torturous” and “inhumane.”
On the weekend of December 12th, 2025 he was moved without alerting our family to Adams Correctional in Natchez, MI.
By December 16th, 2025, he is in Louisiana.
Then Port Isabel, TX.
Within this time period he is mugged and beaten by ICE agents to the point of near-death. No one within the ICE and CBP structure contacted us. Instead, a fellow inmate’s wife called our family to alert us of his condition. The call lasted only 1 minute.
Then we lost him. For 5 days my uncle was chained by ankle and wrist on a plane bound for a country he no longer recognized. ICE and CBP agents beat him until he broke bones. They sedated others.
My uncle is left with not only physical injuries, of which we do not know the depth or extent of the damage he’s suffered, but deep psychological scars too.
He misses home most of all.
A full medical exam is crucial for my uncle and a future resource for class action lawsuits for other migrants abused in the deportation machine. We must know the full extent of his injuries, and he deserves the highest quality healthcare to treat the wounds forced on him.
