My uncle is 71 years old, and despite his age and the fact that he receives disability benefits, he still works hard every single day to make ends meet. He’s never been one to ask for help — he’s always found a way to keep going and provide for himself through honest work.

Unfortunately, his work truck recently broke down beyond repair. Without it, he can’t take on the jobs he depends on to cover his rent and basic expenses. His disability income alone isn’t enough to get by, and without a vehicle, his situation has become increasingly difficult and uncertain.

We’re hoping to raise $5,000 to help him purchase a reliable used truck so he can get back to work and regain his stability. He isn’t looking for a handout — just the chance to keep doing what he’s always done: earn his living with dignity and independence.

As his nephew, I’m organizing this fundraiser because I’ve seen firsthand how hard he works and how much pride he takes in standing on his own two feet. Every donation, no matter the size, will help him get one step closer to getting back on the road and back to work.
