On March 6, 2026, my cousin was sleeping at home while his parents were at work. Around 9:00am the smoke detector went off and woke him up. He ran out of his room and saw there was a fire in his parents' bedroom. He grabbed the fire extinguisher and tried to but the fire out. When he realized quickly that the fire was bigger than he can handle, so he ran out of the house while calling 911. My aunt is on oxygen for other health reasons, so when the fire reached her oxygen tank it exploded and the fire moved to the upstairs neighbor's apartment and through the roof. The fire also went throughout the entire apartment, in the result of them losing everything they own.
