Help My Twin Sister Rebuild After A Devastating House Fire

Hi, my name is Sandie Hawn, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my twin sister, Candice Evans.

Yesterday, her family’s life was turned upside down when their home caught fire. By God’s grace, she, her husband Aaron, their 9-year-old daughter, and their two dogs all made it out safely—but their home suffered severe damage. Now they’re faced with a high insurance deductible before repairs can even begin, and it’s more than they can afford right now.

My sister is an elementary school teacher who has dedicated her life to caring for others' children. She’s currently out of work due to medical issues and is receiving only partial pay, making finances extremely tight even before the fire.

To add to the difficulty, her husband Aaron, who has been her rock—caring for her since surgery and stepping up to take care of their daughter and home. He’s had to turn down higher-paying out-of-town jobs and only take work locally so he can be there for his family, which has deeply impacted their income.
