When you get a text like this and you know your only sister is already struggling, it hurts you if you can’t fix it. She had just had a 50 percent increase in her rent that she was struggling to pay and now they must move. The landlord is having to give the property to her family, which happens!

My sister has had her fair share of trials and she, like me, can’t be called a saint, but she works so hard. She takes care of her grandbaby 3 days a week too. So I know she might kill me for this, but she just needs a hand up to move. Some kind of breathing room.

Let me tell you about her. She’s my baby sister. She had an accident years ago and it’s a miracle she lived. She still manages to do her job and do for others. I’m not saying she deserves help more than anyone else right now. My gosh, how hard life is for so many. But when I saw this text and then I went to see her, I had to do something!
