As a mother, there is nothing more painful than watching your child suffer and not having clear answers. My son, Carlos, has been battling celiac disease and ulcerative colitis with complications. These conditions have deeply affected his health and daily life, and over time they have also caused severe dental damage, leaving many of his teeth decayed and painful. In the U.S., most treatments have focused on managing symptoms, but we still lack answers and a plan that treats the root cause of his illness.

After much research, we found an opportunity to travel to Mexico for more comprehensive medical testing, evaluations, and dental care that could finally give him relief and hope. Treatment is more affordable in Mexico, especially since he does not have insurance, and we have more family support there to ensure he gets to appointments and receives the care he needs. The funds raised will help cover travel, medical tests, and dental treatment that are not accessible to us in the U.S.

El tratamiento es más accesible en México, especialmente porque no tiene seguro, y contamos con más apoyo familiar allí para asegurarnos de que asista a sus citas y reciba la atención que necesita. Los fondos recaudados ayudarán a cubrir los gastos de viaje, pruebas médicas y tratamiento dental que no están disponibles para nosotros en Estados Unidos.
