Help my sister's family recover from a house fire
Tonight I received the shocking news that my sister's house has been completely destroyed by a large fire, and she along with her three children just barely managed to escape with the clothes on their backs and that's about it. One of her beloved cats, Hood, has been found dead by the firefighters, and the other one, Susie, is unaccounted for. While we won't know the full extent of the damage until the morning, it's safe to say that most, if not all of the furniture, clothes, school supplies, appliances and virtually everything else in the house are lost, as even the window frames have melted from how violent this fire was.
My sister Sarah is still receiving treatment in hospital for smoke inhalation as she tried to save whatever she could and try to locate the cats, and while my niece and two nephews are safe (albeit very shook up and frightened) and staying with my mother for the time being, we don't know what is going to happen in terms of finding accommodation for them in the near future. Sarah is a strong single mother, actively looking for work and doing her best to support her children, but she needs your help more than ever. She wasn't able to afford insurance, and we still have yet to figure out what we're going to do in terms of finding new furniture, and replacing what was lost when we get the housing side of things sorted out. With the cost of living biting hard, an already challenging task has been made much, much harder for us.
As her little brother, I want to do everything I can to help her out as due to me being in Liverpool and her being in the West Midlands, it's difficult for me to be there due to being in full-time employment. Anything you can give to help her recover and start afresh from this would be greatly appreciated, I'm not asking for anything you can't afford to give, even a pound or two will still be greatly appreciated. The main priorities are to get the basic furniture, appliances and school uniforms/supplies sorted for when Sarah is able to move into new housing, and that is where whatever money this GoFundMe raises will go towards.
