My sister-in-law and her family recently experienced something none of us ever imagined—they lost their home to a fire. In a matter of moments, everything they owned was gone. The place where they built their memories, kept their keepsakes, and felt safe was reduced to ashes. They are still in shock, trying to process the loss and figure out how to move forward from here.

Right now, they are starting from the ground up. They need help with the basics—clothes, essentials, and everything that makes a house a home. Every bit of support will help them rebuild their lives, from finding a place to stay to replacing the things they need for daily living. It’s overwhelming to think about how much they have to replace, but I know that with the kindness of our community, they can begin to recover.
