My sister was recently diagnosed with stage three cancer, a diagnosis that came while her family was already facing enormous challenges. Her husband has been battling kidney and heart failure and has been hospitalized for days at a time, almost every other week. Their lives have become a cycle of doctor visits, hospital stays, treatments, and recovery both physical and emotional. He fought long and hard! And today we had to say goodbye!

my sister is trying to stay strong for their two young boys, who mean everything to them. Work has become extremely difficult, and at times impossible, as their focus has had to be on survival, health, and being present for their children.

As we enter the holiday season, the weigof theveryday expenses, housing, food, medical costs, transportation, and basic needs have become overwhelming. This fundraiser is to help ease that burden so they can focus on healing, stability, and caring for their children during this uncertain time.
