Help My Sister Reclaim Her Life After an Accident
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Brandon, and I’m raising funds to help my sister — a proud, devoted mother, and an incredible professional who’s now fighting to hold on after everything came crashing down.
For eight years, my sister drove a school bus for Anne Arundel County Public Schools. She did it with pride, integrity, and the highest safety standards — never a single traffic violation, no points, no DUIs, no issues. To her, it wasn’t just a job. It was a calling. She loved those kids. She took care of them like they were her own. Her bus was her second home.
But recently, an unexpected accident changed everything.
She was involved in an incident at work that led to permanent muscle tissue damage in her left leg — an injury that causes her pain every day and has made it difficult to walk, let alone work. And the physical damage isn’t the only thing that lingers — she replays the accident in her mind constantly. The heartbreak of losing the job she loved, the job she was so good at, is something no one can prepare for.
Now she’s facing a terrifying ripple effect:
• She’s been decertified from driving for the county
• Her license has been suspended
• She’s in the process of an expedited suspension hearing
• Traffic violations and a Clearinghouse report threaten her ability to work anywhere in the transportation industry
• A court trial for the violations is still pending
• She’s taken a new position at a severe pay cut, just to survive
• And she’s now facing attorney fees she simply cannot afford
And while all of that would be overwhelming for anyone — she’s still doing her best to show up every day for her two daughters, Taylor and Scarlett, who depend on her for everything.
She’s scared. She’s exhausted. And she’s grieving not just the loss of income — but the loss of purpose, identity, and the sense of pride that came from a job she gave her heart to. I’ve watched her try to stay strong, try to keep smiling for her girls, try to navigate a system that feels like it’s stacked against her.
But she shouldn’t have to do this alone.
Your support will help her:
• Cover rent, food, and utilities for her and the girls
• Pay for legal representation at her license hearing and upcoming trial
• Begin the long process of rebuilding — physically, emotionally, and financially
If you’ve ever known someone who did everything right — who played by the rules, gave their best, and still lost more than they could afford to — then you know exactly what my sister is going through.
Even $5 can help. A share can help. A kind word can help.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. And thank you for helping my sister and her girls hold onto hope.
With all my heart,
Brandon
