I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my sister, Natalie, who is currently navigating an incredibly difficult and emotionally exhausting custody situation. She’s doing everything she can to keep her daughters safe, supported, and surrounded by love—but the legal fees are overwhelming, and she needs help to keep fighting for what’s best for her kids.

This has been an ongoing situation that has finally reached a head in recent months. Police have been involved multiple times and she needs legal assistance to set boundaries and expectations. The very lax original divorce and custody agreement that Natalie naively signed due to emotional manipulation has not been upheld. This agreement, which Natalie was not permitted to see prior to signing, took place during a tumultuous time in her life, after the birth of their third daughter. Natalie’s then husband was not even present for the birth and claimed he would refuse to claim her as his. Natalie has been a stay at home mom since the kids were born (14 years now) and has been substitute teaching to survive financially. She is currently back in school to become an elementary school teacher and cannot afford the overwhelming costs of a family lawyer.
