En la noche del 30 de diciembre mi hermana fue atropellada por un vehículo que se dio a la fuga, dejándola gravemente herida en el lugar. Debido al impacto, sufrió una fractura severa en el hueso pélvico, por lo que actualmente está siendo sometida a una cirugía de emergencia para reemplazar dicho hueso.

Este procedimiento es muy delicado y los médicos nos han informado que su recuperación será larga y compleja, estimándose aproximadamente un año antes de que pueda volver a caminar. Durante este tiempo, necesitará cuidados médicos constantes, terapias, medicamentos, equipo especial y apoyo diario, además de enfrentar la imposibilidad de trabajar.

Estamos recaudando fondos para ayudar con:

• Gastos médicos y hospitalarios

• Cirugías y tratamientos de rehabilitación

• Terapias físicas

• Medicamentos y equipo médico

• Gastos básicos durante su recuperación

Hello, my name is Willmarie, and I am creating this GoFundMe to support my sister and our family during one of the most difficult times of our lives.

Recently, my sister was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, leaving her seriously injured. As a result of the accident, she suffered a severe pelvic fracture and is currently undergoing emergency surgery to replace part of her pelvic bone.

This procedure is very delicate, and doctors have informed us that her recovery will be long and challenging, estimated to take approximately one year before she may be able to walk again. During this time, she will require ongoing medical care, physical therapy, medications, special equipment, and daily assistance, while also being unable to work.
