We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for support for my sister, Wendy, who has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.

Wendy is only 52 years old and has worked hard her entire life to build a loving home for her family. She is the rock of her household — a devoted wife and a caring mother to four children, including two who are still very young. She has always been the one others lean on, quietly giving everything she has to support the people she loves.

What makes this even more devastating is that Wendy has never smoked. This diagnosis has come as a complete shock, turning her family’s world upside down overnight.

As she begins this difficult fight, the emotional strain is overwhelming — and so is the financial pressure. Her family is now living on a single income while facing mounting medical expenses, ongoing treatment costs, and the challenge of keeping up with their mortgage and everyday bills.

We are hoping to lift some of that burden so Wendy can focus on her health, her strength, and precious time with her family.
