My sister and sister in law are what I consider perseverance personified. They have struggled and fought through many obstacles to get to where they are now, and they have never frayed from being kind and generous towards everyone. I look up to them every day and can only hope to be even a fraction of the kind of person they are. Recently they bought a house after years and years of saving up! (YAY!) Despite missing events or paying expensive bills, they managed to buy themselves a beautiful house, but unfortunately, they lost almost all of their belongings to a fire! (NO!!) While visiting my father at the hospital, a fire took over their entire kitchen, luckily as quick as it spread and burned, it extinguished itself soon after, though not before it can destroy almost the entire kitchen and most of the living room. Their dogs managed to escape into the back yard via a doggy door (very useful for those considering buying one). The fire may not have destroyed their house, but almost everything they owned inside was completely damaged. Not even owning the house for more than 2 months did they almost lose it to a small yet impactful fire. All of their belongings in their kitchen and living room were destroyed. The bedrooms were covered in soot, their expensive PC’s, vintage and new gaming consoles, dvd collection, tvs and monitors, and collectibles were negatively affected by the fire. Some melted, and others have been completely destroyed by the smoke and heat the fire caused. Their brand new floor was scorched, their tv's melted, their dining table burnt, but most importantly, their spirit was crushed.
I am making this GoFundMe for them as a way to help them out financially and get back to the path they were heading down. They have always done everything for us, and they have worked so hard to get to where they are, I just want to be able to return the favor. I want them to be able to fix their house and buy back all of the things they lost due to the fire. They deserve so much because they’re hard working, amazing people, who’ve dealt with so much struggle already. I don’t want them to continue to struggle anymore. I want them to be happy. All proceeds would go to their house and repairing or replacing all of their lost items. Please, consider donating or sharing this to help my sister and sister in law rebuild their dream home.
