Help my sister and brother in law become parents
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Natalie and I’m starting this fundraiser for my sister Mariana and her husband George.
Not many know but my sister helped raise me and my siblings. She’s the oldest of five children and we could always count on her to be there unconditionally.
She met the love of her life 9 years ago and they got married in 2017. Almost immediately they tried to start a family but two years into trying realized they would have to do IVF do to some unforeseen medical complications.
As some of you may know IVF is very expensive, and after seeing three specialists they knew it would be something they needed to save up for.
In November they paid over $30k to start IVF. This January with the help of IVF my sister got pregnant and was expecting two babies but unfortunately in March they lost both of them. It’s been hard on our entire family seeing them wait so long, become so happy and hopeful and then experience such a painful loss.
As painful as their experience has been, they are hopeful and high spirited willing to try one more time this summer.
They’ve paid for a second try already but are still saving up for $16k worth of medication and $5k for genetic testing that their doctor recommends they do this time around.
With this being said, I ask for your donations, prayers and baby juju for them. My sister has helped so many people and my brother in law will give anyone the shirt off his back. They give whole heartedly with no expectations and they help even when it’s not asked of them. For two people that never expect anything from anyone and do everything on their own, I would like for our family, friends, and community to stand besides them and help if possible. Every little bit helps and if it’s not possible at this moment I understand. Just say a prayer for them instead.
I pray we can help them become parents as we all know they will be great ones and truly deserve it. As my sister always says “Everything happens for a reason, and what’s meant to be will be”. Thank you!
