On July 12th, my parents’ lives were turned upside down when their home was struck by a vehicle that went airborne during a police chase. The car crashed directly into my mother’s bedroom, forcing her through the wall and into the bathroom. She suffered every rib broken, a fractured pelvis, a fractured spine, and needed emergency surgery for a ruptured spleen. My mother is currently intubated, and because she has COPD and bruised lungs, her recovery will be even longer and more difficult. On top of all this, my parents are now without a home due to the extensive damages.

The funds raised will go directly toward temporary housing, medical bills, and helping pay their everyday expenses while my mother heals. She cannot work right now, and my father will need to take leave from his job to be by her side during this critical time. This support will help them focus on recovery and rebuilding their lives without the added stress of financial hardship.

My mother is a grandmother to five grandchildren, a loving wife, and a mother who is deeply cherished by our family. She has always given whatever she could to anyone in need, and now it would mean the world to us to be able to give back to her and my father in their time of crisis.
