On Saturday, April 4, our parents’ home was devastated by a fire, and they lost nearly everything.

This has been an overwhelming shock for our family. In a matter of moments, so much was gone, and now they are facing the immediate reality of starting over with only the basics. We are incredibly grateful that no lives were lost and for the emergency crews who responded.

Our parents do have insurance, but as many people know, recovery takes time and urgent expenses begin right away. This fundraiser is meant to help cover immediate emergency needs while they work through the insurance process.

Donations will go toward:

* temporary housing and lodging

* clothing and shoes

* toiletries and personal care items

* food and groceries

* medications and prescriptions

* day-to-day essentials

* replacing basic household necessities

My dad also served as a volunteer firefighter with Eden Fire Department and Landisville Fire Department in the 1970s and 1980s, and our family has always believed in helping others in times of crisis. Now, we are humbly asking for help for them during one of the hardest moments of their lives.
