Hi my name is Julian,

I am raising funds to help my parents after they were victims of a devastating email scam.

My parents are in their 70s, retired, and have worked incredibly hard their entire lives to build a stable and honest life. Recently, while trying to pay a contractor for a bathroom renovation, they were unknowingly targeted by a scam.

The original invoice was intercepted and altered and the bank details were changed without their knowledge. Trusting everything was correct, they transferred $29,000, only to later find out the money had gone directly to a scammer.

That money is now gone.

They’ve contacted the bank, reported it through the proper channels, and followed every step they were told to take — but unfortunately, nothing has been recovered. It’s been incredibly frustrating and disheartening, especially knowing they did everything right.

To make things even tougher, both of my parents have battled cancer in the past. They should be enjoying their retirement, not dealing with financial stress like this.

This is why I’m stepping in.

I’m raising funds to help ease the pressure this has put on them and to try and recover even a portion of what was lost. Every dollar raised will go directly toward supporting them and helping them move forward from this situation.
