This is not an easy story for me to share, but I feel like I have to try. My parents have spent their entire lives giving everything they had to their family, and now, when they should finally be able to enjoy the life they worked so hard for, they have lost almost everything they built.

Many years ago, my parents fled the war and came to Germany with very little. They came here hoping to build a safe and better life for their children. They worked hard for decades and raised eight children here. They sacrificed so much so that we could grow up safe, have opportunities, and build our own lives.

My parents never lived a life of luxury. They worked, saved, and always put their family first.

Over the years, they invested the money they had worked so hard for back into Lebanon, their home country. They built a house in our village and put their savings into creating a place they could one day return to. It was their dream for their retirement. A place where they could spend their later years, surrounded by family, memories, and the land they came from.

But the war took that dream away.

Because of the war and the destruction in Lebanon, my parents have lost what they spent decades building. The savings they invested, their home, and the future they had planned for their retirement are gone.

What hurts the most is that they are now retired. They no longer have the years ahead of them to simply start over and rebuild everything from the beginning. After a lifetime of working and sacrificing for their children, they now find themselves having to face a future without the security they worked so hard to create.

As their daughter, this is incredibly difficult for me to watch.

I cannot give my parents back the years they spent working. I cannot replace the home they lost or undo what happened. But I can try to help them now.

That is why I am asking for your help.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, would help my parents regain some of the security they have lost and give them the opportunity to build a new chapter in their lives.
