On June 8th, my parent’s house completely burned down in a fire. The flames spread so quickly that my parents were forced to jump from their second story window to escape. Both of them suffered serious injuries including broken bones and severe burns. By God's grace, one of their neighbors rushed over and was able to pull them out of harm's way and bring them to safety.

While we are incredibly grateful they are alive, the fire destroyed everything they owned - including their six beloved animals, who tragically did not make it out.

Their entire world has turned upside down. All their memories, personal belongings and their sense of safety are now gone. Right now, they're still in the hospital recovering from their injuries and trying to process the trauma and grief of losing their pets and home. While they are healing, they're also faced with the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from nothing.

This fundraiser is to help them with:

-Ongoing medical expenses

-Temporary housing

-Basic daily necessities

-Long-term efforts to rebuild their home and life
