Today, July 6th, 2024, a severe lightning storm struck our community, and tragically, my mother's house was caught in the middle of it. The lightning caused a fire that quickly spread, engulfing her home and destroying it. Thankfully, she was not home, but she has lost everything.

My mother has always been the heart and soul of our family, always ready to help others in times of need. Now, she is the one who needs help. The loss is overwhelming, and without insurance to cover the damages, she faces an incredibly difficult road ahead to rebuild her home and replace all her belongings.
